Keyword research is in my opinion, the most important aspect of SEO, because it is the foundational building block from which you will write content to grow traffic to your website. The good news is that you do not need to spend money to get your keyword research done. You do not need to pay for SEO tools with free SEO tools and SEO tools offering free trials, such as my 3 favorites I have highlighted below. 

1. Ahrefs Keyword Generator

• Complete your keyword research within the free 7 day trial

• I personally use UberSuggest and am on their lifetime subscription plan. I find it the most affordable SEO tool out there and good value for money.
